Transparency, clear and agreed upon rules, the enlargement and diversification of skills, flexibility, ethics, open-mindedness, the new role of the manager, and new ways of thinking about the profession, career, and promotion of talent at all levels. These are the main findings from the recent Top Employers HR Summit in Saint Agata Bologna, held in the headquarters of Automobiles Lamborghini and organized by the Top Employers Institute. This was an exclusive Summit for certified companies with excellent HR reputations, a Summit meeting reserved for the top management teams, and a Summit featuring renowned academics and prominent figures from the world of HR.
The day of the Top Employers Summit HR was held in two phases.
Phase 1 - Morning
The first phase was in the morning, in which participants were divided into four Focus Groups. Each group dedicated itself to a specific topic within HR:
- Leadership
- Learning & Development
- Performance Management
- Career & Succession Management
Phase 2 - Afternoon
A second, full-group session was held in the afternoon, where all the focus groups came together to analyze and share the results of their work from the morning. This was an opportunity to discuss definitions of ideal innovative solutions, which could be applicable in the future to the thematic areas examined.
Nearly 50 participants were divided into operating Focus Groups, and were guided and monitored by a Tutor. They have presented their various business Best Practices, collaboratively analyzed real situations, and then designed various and futuristic solutions. This was done in order to identify an ideal model that would meet the new demands of a labor market that is increasingly fluid and perpetually dynamic.
